 Biskup Malý prý prohlásil, že Romy spasí víra v Boha. Jan Hus se naproti tomu o nich vyjádřil zcela opačně "Cikáni jsou plémě nečisté, mravů hanebných, práce se štítící, druh druha okrádající a Boha neuznávající." Kterému dá budoucnost za pravdu, ukáže až čas, který také prověří životaschopnost různých misijních akcí, jež na první pohled vypadají velmi zajímavě.
